The group with the singer, whose guitar is made from the tree on his mother’s grave, easily switches between poppy ballads, Paisley Underground, folk, alt-country, psychedelia and even some noise rock like extravagances excess. At one moment desolate and the other raw rocking. Their latest album ‘New Song’ was recorded at Hansa Studios in Berlin (David Bowie, U2, Depeche mode).
Produced by Gordon Raphael (The Strokes, Regina Spector). Mummy’s a tree was support act for bands such as dEUS, My Morning Jacket and Big Country. This fall they will tour France, the Netherlands, Germany and the Czech Republic. They released their last album “Mummy Loves Strings” in the fall of 2024.
